Three day annual Youth Meet of Bangalore Diocese "Khonoso 2010" Concluded yesterday at House of Peace, Yercaud, Salem. Theme of the camp was "God's Providence". 113 youth members from different parishes of Bangalore Diocese participated in the camp. H.G Issaq Mor Osthathiose lead the
classes on Syriac tradition & faith on Friday. 82nd Birthday of our beloved spiritual father H.B
Catholicose Dr Baselios Thomas 1st was also celebrated here. Various classes were lead by Rev Fr. Dr.
Jerry Kurian ("Relationship") & Rev Fr. P P Eldhose (Music). Rev Fr. Abraham K J (Holy Cross Mission)
lead the camp retreat. Exciting site seeing on saturday afternoon was followed by the camp fire in the
evening. Very Rev Roy Abraham Kochattu lead the Holy Mass on Sunday 25th at the chapel at the camp location. Rev Fr. Shibu Pulayath, Rev Fr. Eldho John, Rev Fr. Kuriakose Punnachalil, Rev Fr. Varghese Chenganatt, Rev Fr. Joy Anakkuzhy ( Vice President "Akila Malankara Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Youth Association"), Biju K Thampy (General Secretary JSOYA) & Dn. Bangalore diocese youth meet of Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Youth Association held at St. Paul's & St. Peter's JSOC Mathikkere , Bangalore. H.G Mor Irenios Paulose (President of JSOYA) presided over the function. Representatives from all the churches of Bangalore diocese were present for the function. V Rev Roy Kochattu Cor Episcopa, Rev Fr. Geevarghese George Pulayath, Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Punnachalil, Rev Fr. Eldhose, Rev Fr. Saji, Rev Fr. Varghese Chenganatt & Rev Fr. Varghese were present for the function. Rev Fr. Reji (in charge Renewal Retreat Centre Bennarghatta Road, Bangalore) of Roman Catholic church conducted the retreat and delivered the message for youth. After the retreat the Business session of the meet was conducted. The meeting reviewed the preparations of Bangalore diocese Youth association camp which is to be conducted at Yercaud, Salem, Tamil Nadu on 23rd, 24th & 25th of this month. Hennur Road Prayer Group Started on 15th May |

| The Holy Service of our church started of at Christian College of Nursing, Hennur Junction, Bangalore. Mor Osthatheos Ishaq [Mylapore & Delhi Dioceses] was the chief celebrant, assisted by Mor Dioscorus Kuriakose [Simhasana Churches, Bangalore & Ireland] and many priests. Around 500 faithful attended the holy service, many were students from the near by colleges. This service is going to be beneficial for the Jacobite faithful in and around Hennur. The Holy Service at Hennur is just a beginning and the Diocese is planning to start another service at Yelahanka, Bangalore in the near future. The Diocese has plans to start churches and congregations in other parts of the Karnataka state too, said Mor Dioscorus, the diocesan metropolitan.

| The General Body Meeting held at St. Mary's JSO Cathedral, Queens Road, here on February 14, Sunday, under the presidentship of Diocesan Metropolitan, H.B Catholicos Baselios Thomas I elected Mor Dioscorus Kuriakose as the new metropolitan for the Bangalore Diocese. Currently Mor Dioscorus is the Auxiliary Metropolitan of the Diocese and Abbott of Malecuriz Dayaro. New Council also has been formed. Rev. Fr. Paulose Mangalath is the Diocesan Secretary. Jyothis Mathew will be the Joint Secretary. Very Rev. Roy Kochattu Cor Episcopa is the Clergy Secretary. Rev. Fr. Geevargis George Pulayath will function as Office Manager and K V Baby as Auditor. |

Santharathri 2009 ,a Grand Inter church Christmas competition and celebration organized by Jacobite Syrian Church youth association- Bangalore Diocese on 13th Dec 2009 - Sunday at ECA auditorium, Indiranagar. Around 10 churches in and around Bangalore participated in this program and witnessed by over 1000 of people. Rev. Dr. Varghese Kelamparampil given the Christmas message after the inaugural function. | St. Mary's Sunday School won the Rolling Trophy at UTC Inter-Sunday School Talent Contest 2009 |

St. Mary’s Sunday School has won and retained the overall trophy at the Inter-Sunday School Talent Contest 2009 held on 21st November 2009 at The United Theological College - Bangalore. The St. Mary's Sunday school won First prize in choreography,group song, painting, cartoon and fancy dress, 2nd prizes in elocution and third prize in quiz. In 2008 also St. Mary’s Sunday School was the winner. This is the centenary year of UTC and 15th year of Inter Sunday School competition.
