Apart from priest all the diocean council members also were present there. As per the Holy synod Decision H.B bava appointed H.G Pathrose Mor Osthathiose as the Metrapolitian of Bangalore Diocese. Steps have been taken to start the Diocean office in the centre of the city and to start new congregations & churches in different parts of Bangalore where we don't have service now. Council has identified Mysore as a place where service has to be started at the earliest and steps have been taken in this regard.

St. Mary’s Sunday School has won and retained the overall trophy at the INTERSUN 2010 a Inter-Sunday School Talent Contest 2010 held on 13th November 2010 at The United Theological College - Bangalore.

Youth meet of Bangalore Diocese Youth Association was held at St. George JSO Church Marthahalli on Oct 10th. Bible class and Message from Fr. Jacob Joseph followed by following competition - Solo Song , Group Song ( aradhana Geetam malayalam and Syriac) , Elocution , Bible Quiz & Bible Quick Reading The event which was held after the H. Qurbana was inaugurated by Comm. T John, MLC. V.Rev Roy Kochattu Cor-Episcopa, Rev. Fr. Eldose John, Rev. Fr. Geevarghese Pulayathu, Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Punnachalil, Rev. Fr. Jacob Joseph, Rev. Fr. John Ipe, Rev. Fr. Thomas Abraham, Rev, Fr. Santosh Markose, Raju Varghese and Nithin Stephen spoke on the occasion.

In the various competitions that were held, St. Gregorios JSO Church, Hosa Road won the overall championship. St. Peter's and St. Paul's JSO Church, Mathikere earned the second place while St. George JSO church, Marthahalli came third.

Bangalore diocese youth meet of Jacobite Syrian Orthodox Youth Association held at St. Paul's & St. Peter's JSOC Mathikkere , Bangalore. H.G Mor Irenios Paulose (President of JSOYA) presided over the function. Representatives from all the churches of Bangalore diocese were present for the function. V Rev Roy Kochattu Cor Episcopa, Rev Fr. Geevarghese George Pulayath, Rev. Fr. Kuriakose Punnachalil, Rev Fr. Eldhose, Rev Fr. Saji, Rev Fr. Varghese Chenganatt & Rev Fr. Varghese were present for the function. Rev Fr. Reji (in charge Renewal Retreat Centre Bennarghatta Road, Bangalore) of Roman Catholic church conducted the retreat and delivered the message for youth. After the retreat the Business session of the meet was conducted. The meeting reviewed the preparations of Bangalore diocese Youth association camp which is to be conducted at Yercaud, Salem, Tamil Nadu on 23rd, 24th & 25th of this month. Santharathri 2009 ,a Grand Inter church Christmas competition and celebration organized by Jacobite Syrian Church youth association- Bangalore Diocese on 13th Dec 2009 - Sunday at ECA auditorium, Indiranagar. Around 10 churches in and around Bangalore participated in this program and witnessed by over 1000 of people. Rev. Dr. Varghese Kelamparampil given the Christmas message after the inaugural function.
