As u r travelling towards Tumkur, on the left side, just beside the highway, u can see a church. there is also a school here. a series of shops are also found just beside the church. Boards of ST.MARY'S ENGLISH HIGH SCHOOL, ST.MARY'S COMPLEX, ST.MARY'S CHURCH, are all prominently displayed on the left hand side of the highway towards Tumkur. there is a small mud road that leads to the gate of the church and school, just after this name board.
